William Sykes 33°


Most Worshipful Grandmaster William Sykes is the founding pillar of the Tribe of Judah Grand Lodge, having established its rightful place among the Masonic family of Connecticut four years ago. With over a decade of service as Coordinating Manager of Volunteer Opportunities at HARC, he has dedicated himself to creating inclusive spaces for individuals with intellectual disabilities. For the past six years, he has also served as a Deacon at Liberty Christian Center International, where his faith and service continue to impact lives. Together with his wife, he remains a steadfast partner in both family and community outreach, united by love, faith, and a commitment to uplifting others.

Guided by the enduring principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, Grandmaster Sykes has worked tirelessly to strengthen the fraternity's impact and leave a legacy rooted in faith, hope, and charity. He believes that Freemasonry begins not in ceremony, but in the heart—where true obligation is born. For him, the most rewarding part of the Craft is the shared vision of like-minded brothers striving to uplift families and communities through unity, service, and sacred brotherhood.

Barbara J. Scott


Sister Barbara Scott has been a devoted pillar of Harmony Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star since its very inception. Now retired, she continues to lead with wisdom, grace, and quiet strength, drawing from a lifetime of experience and service. She has been happily married for 44 years and is the proud mother of one daughter and grandmother to four beloved grandchildren. Her presence within the Chapter reflects the enduring values of faith, family, and fortitude.

What Sister Scott values most about her journey in the Eastern Star is the growth and development of the virtues of womanhood. Through the Order, she has embraced a lifelong process of refinement—spiritually, morally, and personally. Her advice to all who walk this path: “Be prepared to look at self, and never limit yourself.” Her words echo the heart of the Eastern Star—inviting each member to rise in purpose, evolve in character, and live a life of quiet excellence.

Shanice Wilson


Sister Shanice Wilson, joining in 2025, brings vibrant energy and heartfelt dedication to her role
as Grand Secretary of Harmony Grand Chapter. A gifted fashion designer, seamstress, and tailor,
she infuses her work—with both fabric and fellowship—with meticulous attention to detail and a deep sense of purpose.

At home, she is surrounded by creativity and love. Her daughter, a budding young artist, and her
fiancé, Bro. Makonnen—a talented Mason and graphic designer—form a family committed to excellence, artistry, and service. Sister Wilson was drawn to the Order by its graceful integration of spiritual depth, moral guidance, and community outreach. She finds profound meaning in the ceremonies and symbolism, which remind her daily to walk in compassion, integrity, and humility.

What she cherishes most about the Eastern Star is the unity and purpose shared among Sisters—women devoted to uplifting one another and making a lasting difference.

GRAND MARSHALL & ASSISTANT SECRETARY

Anika Cazenave


Sister Anika T. Cazenave,  leads with grace, purpose, and ancestral pride in Harmony Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. A Registered Nurse, Olorisha (Yemonja), and entrepreneur, she brings holistic healing, cultural depth, and leadership to every space she enters. Engaged and the proud mother of one, Sister Cazenave balances her roles with strength and spiritual awareness—uplifting her chapter and community through service and sacred intention.

Her journey into the Eastern Star was sparked in childhood by curiosity and awe—watching the Sisters from a distance and wondering about the mystery and meaning behind their presence. As she grew older, she discovered that her great-grandmother had also been a member, deepening her sense of ancestral connection and spiritual continuity. What she loves most about being an Eastern Star is the fellowship and the personal transformation it inspires. Her guiding wisdom: “Be dedicated and open to going outside of your comfort zone.” For her, the Order is not only tradition—it is evolution.

Sandra Moman


Sister Sandra Moman proudly represents Harmony Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, having joined in 2021. A devoted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and caregiver by calling, she exemplifies compassion, strength, and dedication in both her personal and professional life. The youngest of three children born to Edward and Mary Moman, Sister Sandra honors a long-standing family legacy within the Eastern Star, continuing the tradition with pride and purpose.

What she treasures most about the Order is the opportunity to grow as a woman of virtue, strength, and service. She was inspired by the organization’s deep commitment to community and by the example of generations who came before her. Her candid wisdom to those considering this path: “If you aren’t about service and commitment, don’t join.” Through her work and her walk, Sister Moman stands as a living example of dedication, integrity, and personal growth.


 

GRAND ASSOCIATE CONDUCTRESS

Maryanne Johnson


Sister Martha Maryanne Johnson has served Harmony Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star with loyalty and light for the past four years. As a Guest Experience Specialist, she brings warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism to every interaction—traits that also shine through in her Masonic service. A proud mother of two adult children, Shyeeda and James, Sister Johnson describes them as her world, and draws strength and purpose from the love of her family.

Inspired by her Masonic heritage—her father a Mason, her mother a Daughter—Sister Johnson embraced the Eastern Star with deep reverence for its spiritual and familial bonds. She cherishes being surrounded by Godly and respected women, protected by Brothers of honor, and embraced by an organization that offers spiritual covering and lifelong sisterhood. Her guiding words are simple and profound: “Love God, respect your sisters and brothers.” In faith and fellowship, she continues to walk in purpose, dignity, and devotion.

Heather Johnson-Love


Sister Heather Johnson-Love has served as a devoted member of Harmony Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star since 2023 A distinguished attorney and ordained minister, she brings a powerful blend of spiritual insight and professional excellence to her sacred role within the Chapter.

She is united in purpose and faith with her husband, Bro David Love, and together they exemplify a partnership grounded in service, devotion, and shared values. Sister Johnson-Love’s journey into the Order was inspired by a sincere and humble desire—to serve with compassion, grace, and intention.

What she cherishes most about being an Eastern Star is the strength of sisterhood and the holistic growth it nurtures—spiritually, intellectually, and socially. Her commitment to the Order extends far beyond meetings and ceremonies; it is a lived, daily expression of her values.

In every facet of her life and leadership, Sister Heather Louise Johnson-Love embodies the light of devotion, the dignity of service, and the unwavering faith that defines the Eastern Star.

Carlos Gray


Brother Carlos A. Gray proudly serves as the Grand Tyler of the Tribe of Judah Grand Lodge, where he has been a dedicated member for the past two years. As a skilled event organizer, he brings structure, creativity, and precision to every endeavor—qualities that align seamlessly with the discipline and ceremonial responsibility of his Masonic office. An only child, Brother Gray shares a powerful bond with a close cousin, who he regards as a sibling, reflecting the fraternal spirit he values so deeply.

Brother Gray was drawn to the Craft by a desire to become a better version of himself—to seek light, guidance, and inner transformation. What he cherishes most is the brotherhood: a sacred space where like-minded men uplift and refine one another. His wisdom to those walking this path is reflective and profound: “When searching for answers, learn self. A lot of answers are within.” As Grand Tyler, he stands at the threshold of the Lodge—not just as a guardian of its door, but as a symbol of readiness, reflection, and purpose.

Terry Mitchell


Sister Terry Mitchell has proudly served as a dedicated member of the Harmony Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, since 2021. Her commitment to service extends beyond the Chapter into her professional life, where she serves the community as a Shift Supervisor with the Hampden County Sheriff's Office. In every role she fulfills, Sister Mitchell exemplifies leadership, discipline, and compassion.

A devoted mother of three sons and a loving grandmother to ten— all residing in Massachusetts—Sister Mitchell holds family as her greatest treasure. She draws strength from their love, support, and unity, which fuels her purpose both in and out of the Order.

Inspired by the example of strong, faith-driven women committed to uplifting one another, Sister Mitchell joined the Order to grow in character and be part of a supportive, spiritually grounded sisterhood. She deeply values the spirit of unity, the enduring friendships, and the opportunities for personal and collective growth that the Order provides.
